Thank you for visiting the Circuits & Code 2010 event registration page.

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at UMass Amherst invites tech-loving and even tech-skeptical folks to attend the first ever Circuits & Code event - a celebration of technology, engineering, science, mathematics, creativity and the students who are designing and building the products and systems of the future:

Saturday, 24 April 2010 - 11 AM - 3 PM - Marcus Hall, Rooms 5 and 10 at UMass Amherst.

Please get your free tickets above. Your online registration will be a great help to us as we plan for adequate food, drinks, etc.

Come and see projects which demonstrate the power of embedded computers, internet-leveraged communication and control, energy harvesting technologies and new social networking modes.

In a very real sense we are inviting you to a sneak preview of the future! Many of the ideas you'll witness at C&C will make their way into everyday products in the next few years.

> Don't worry. It's won't all be ultra-complex. Younger visitors will enjoy the cool demos which have been prepared by members of the new ECE Outreach Club. Their goal is to show how an understanding of math and science can lead directly to exciting engineered products and systems. Math is Money!

> Come and see ECE seniors demonstrate a selection of the ECE Senior Design Projects.

> Frosh, Sophomores and Juniors will be demonstrating their term projects which they designed and built in M5 (UMassAmherstM5.org) - their innovative technology space which includes a multimedia recording studio and a fabrication shop. You'll be able to view the projects as well as tour the facilities.

> ECE seniors in the UMass Amherst Commonwealth Honors College will be on hand to explain their honors projects and theses.

We would also like you to be aware that on Friday, 23 April 2010 all the ECE seniors will demonstrating their senior design projects (SDP) from 10 AM - 2 PM in the Gunness Engineering Student Center, Marcus Hall, UMass Amherst. The event is free and open to the public. No registration is required. For information about all thirteen senior projects please visit the ECE SDP website: http://www.ecs.umass.edu/ece/sdp/sdp10/index.html
